So I was 64 this year and am just reflecting on what this year has brought.
Family meet ups, walking with my sister, birthdays, holidays etc. Feeling blessed to have all these. I also worry about grandchildren growing up in a dystopian world, especially Scotland. Hate crime laws, 24 genders taught in schools, the NHS captured by gender nonsense and being ‘for women' being seen as transphobic.
My health is ok so I like getting out walking, swimming, doing zumba or yoga. I worry though about free speech and especially since Labour got in. Two tier Keir locking protesters up seemingly disproportionately and a poor man taking his life. So sad. People being charged for silent praying. Thought crimes etc all very 1984.
It's not only the UK. America is on the cusp of something big. I hope Trump gets in. Things are looking up a bit as people are aware of what is happening.
Looking forward to Christmas and family times. All we can do is hope and be aware of what is happening, doing our bit to try to change things for the better.
